Merry Christmas

Wishing everyone a very 'Merry Christmas'. We've spent the holiday with family at our grandparents' lake house in central Florida. We've just barely survived the marathon present opening.

Dallas will start treatment later this week. We appreciate everyone's support and comments. We're blessed to have had such a wonderful holiday together with all of you.

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Jessie

And, just so u don't think I'm more of a goofball than I am, the reason the "glamor shot" (taken many years and pounds ago) pops up is not because I'm an egomaniac and want everyone to see my photo :-) but because I have the bicycling blog on the Democrat's Web site so I'm a registered blogger. Didn't know the photo would show up wherever and whenever I blog, though. Now I know. Oh, well. Dallas -- now u'll see who this strange old stranger is!! Again, best of the best news and health for the new year -- Jesse

Hey Dallas, from Aunt Nancy & Uncle Stinnes.

Forgive us we are first time bloggers, and evidently need remedial blogging. Tried like heck to send a Merry Christmas note but could not get through on what Stinnes originally set up on the Lumpkin network. Think we have it licked now. The old "never give up attitude" prevailed.

Heard you all had a great time in DC, pretty neat to have a sis that lives in such a cool place as Georgetown.

I've got a movie trivia question for you. It's an older movie, but I bet your Dad and Mom had it on a few times or two. ok here goes, what movie is this from?

It's easy to grin when your ship comes in, and you've got the stock market beat.
But, the man worth while is the man who can smile
when his pants are tight in his seat.

If you get it a right, you win a personal caddy next time you play golf.

Right now Uncle Stinnes is watching the FSU game, and as always he is rooting for the Noles. We are rooting for you in the DBT ring.

Hang tough buddy, and keep in mind what Spring nail color you want.

Love you..
and P.S. Shel, I agree
Owen Wilson, not Joe Walsh

Hi Dallas,
I'm a crazy friend of Shel's and have met you on a few ocassions. I, along with many others, are rooting for you. As your mom knows, I love to quote song lyrics. Here's one from Bob Dylan--"Forever Young."
Take care----April-Nut

May God bless and keep you always,
May your wishes all come true,
May you always do for others
And let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous,
May you grow up to be true,
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you.
May you always be courageous,
Stand upright and be strong,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy,
May your feet always be swift,
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift.
May your heart always be joyful,
May your song always be sung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

Thank you sooo much for setting up this blog. Now we can follow the shrinking and disappearance of Timmy without bugging you guys with a hundred emails.

So Dallas, what color are your nails this week??
